Nishtha Saini is a qualified clinical psychologist from India. She worked with children and adults across various mental health settings in India. Since moving to New Zealand in 2015, Nishtha has worked at Stop and the Department of Corrections. She began her private practice in Wellington in 2020. She has completed the Level 2 Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training as well as the Group Traumatic Events Protocol (G-TEP) and the Recent Traumatic Events Protocol (R-TEP). She is an accredited ACC provider. She has experience working with groups and individual clients. She employs evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Nishtha lives in Wellington with her husband and energetic dog, Luna. She enjoys exploring the vibrant culture our capital city has to offer.
